About Ministries 101


Believing a relationship with Jesus is essential for meaningful change, Ministries 101 is dedicated to help men and women transition from prison to community through strategic partnerships combining pre-release re-entry programs with integrated post-release aftercare.

Ministries 101 is a 501(c)(3) Domestic Nonprofit Corporation registered in the State of Texas as an Integrated Auxiliary of the Skillman Church of Christ. All Contributions are received by the Skillman Church of Christ. Such funds are deposited and designated for use by Ministries 101. All disbursements of funds are made by the Skillman Church on behalf of Ministries 101. The management of the affairs of Ministries 101 is vested in the board. Chuck Adair, the organizer and daily operation manager of this prison/aftercare ministry, serves as the President of the corporation.

Financial Report
September 15, 2006 to December 31, 2007

Operations commenced September 15, 2006. We budgeted $40,000 for support and $12,000 for working fund requirements over a 12 month period, and during the 15 1/2 month period ending December 31, 2007 the following financial activity has been recorded:

We have operated well within our budget as the 15 1/2 month period comparable budget figures would be $51,666 for support and $15,500 for our working fund. The board approved a $2,800 retirement compensation payment to Mr. Adair in December of 2007. Those funds were deposited in an IRA on his behalf. Working Fund payments are for automobile expenses, bus passes, offender help, supplies, postage, printing, parking, programs at the Hutchins Unit faith based dorm, etc. A detailed expense report is submitted to Skillman Church each month for review and reimbursement.
