Ministries 101

There's Always Hope

From the time a person enters the prison systems, he dreams about the day that he will be released from confinement. Unfortunately, the prison experience has a way of further crippling relationships that have already been damaged between the person who commits a criminal offense and his family and Support network. Many men leave the prison system with limited, or in many cases, no support.

Recognizing this difficult situation, Ministries 101 exists to help the client build a viable transition plan while incarcerated. We engage the client in faith based mentoring during the last years of incarceration. Our ministry goal is to combine community= resources to provide life-skills training, mentor matches, and a personal reentry transitional plan. This plan will include elements such as job counseling, housing, and continuing education thus establishing a community support system that meets the client's physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

True reconciliation, restoration, and healing can only come through a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship is at the core of everything we try to do.
